You shouldn't let this statistic dampen your idea of a Kauai wedding, though, because another name for this island is the “Garden Isle”, and its beauty makes a perfect backdrop for any wedding. The beaches of Lumahai and Poipu are both great public settings, easy to get to and known for their beauty.
